New surface energy analysis device
A new surface energy analysis that replaces the conventional dyne value.
The "adhesion process," which includes painting, coating, sealing, applying adhesives, and printing, is an important manufacturing process. Manufacturers suffer damages such as waste, reprocessing, returns, and delays due to improper surface management during the manufacturing process. Until now, dyne value tests have been used for many years to measure surface treatment and cleanliness levels. However, there have been issues such as dependence on the tester's results and contamination of the test items. Brighton Science has developed a surface analysis device that automatically measures the water contact angle of surfaces in an instant (within 2 seconds), based on extensive experience in surface engineering and materials science to address these challenges. This device allows for the quantification of the quality of material surfaces before the application of the "adhesion process" or after the cleaning process, without contaminating the test items. Additionally, if it is portable, it can be brought into the production site for use. This technology enables reliable "adhesion processes" across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical devices, and consumer products.
